Career
During 1969, he was employed by Seattle Repertory Theatre and Provincetown Playhouse. Afterwards, he was a part of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. He appeared in the stage adaptation of Grease as his first big break in theater four years later. He made his debut in motion picture in 1975 when he played Billy in Report to the Commissioner. In the following year, he appeared in Baby Blue Marine.
In 1977, he was cast to play Tony in Looking for Mr. Goodbar, which was his major breakthrough in Hollywood.
