Biography

A Black American is Will Smith. February 25th, 1968 was the date of his birth, Willard Carroll Smith II. The couple that gave birth to him were Willard Carroll Smith (Sr) and Caroline Smith. As a refrigeration engineer, his father, Willard Carroll Smith (Sr.), was a veteran of the US Air Force. During this time, Caroline Smith, his mother, was working as an administrator at the Philadelphia School Board.

When Will Smith was thirteen, his parents separated and finalized their divorce in 2000. The Smiths lived in the Wynnefield neighborhood in West Philadelphia before their separation. Pamela Smith is his older sibling, and Harry Smith and Ellen Smith are his younger siblings.
